PPC Advertising is an essential element of any pay-for-performance strategy. Google AdWords is definitely your first and arguably most important stop for advertising your business on the Internet. As the chart clearly shows, Google is by far the dominating pay-for-performance advertiser in Australia, with 88% market share as of July 2008 (source: Hitwise). Yahoo! Search Marketing has lost significant ground from 33% in 2005 to its current market share to under 4%.
